Interfaith Glasgow’s Weekend Club

Interfaith Glasgow is a Scottish charity which promotes and facilitates positive engagement between people of diverse faiths and beliefs – religious and non-religious – so as to help create a better-connected, safer, and more harmonious city for all.

Interfaith Glasgow’s Weekend Club project is an interfaith response to the social isolation often experienced by people from refugee backgrounds. It works with a team of volunteers from diverse backgrounds to host fun, free, family-friendly events at the weekend for refugees and people seeking asylum (and those who want to welcome them). Our aim is to make newcomers feel welcome, make new friends, and practise speaking English.
