Citizens Theatre – Community Collective

The Citizens Theatre is a longstanding professional theatre company based in the Gorbals. The Community Collective is an integral part of our organisation’s participatory work. It speaks to our commitment to long-term and in-depth engagement with those we work with, with a focus on building confidence and improving well being. The Community Collective is an inter generational mix-gender project, that offers adults from across Glasgow regular access to creativity and performance. Underpinned by our goal to use artistic practice to build connections between people and strengthen community networks. Over the last 20 years the Community Collective has been a social, and creative home to participants each week.
