11:00 - 13:00
By Glasgow University (Sara) & Bangor University (Nikolaos)
An interactive discussion around youth cultures and migrant integration. The organisers will briefly present on diverse examples from the history of youth cultures in Scotland and Europe in general since the 1950s: to what extent have these been based on the interaction of indigenous and migrant young people? The organisers will subsequently invite participants to reflect on their practices as young people and whether these helped bring migrants and indigenous people closer.
