We believe that one of the best ways to get to know someone truly is through their food. Therefore, we would like to share some of Yemen’s best-loved dishes with you and reveal the stories and rituals that accompany each plate of food.

Our guest chef will lead you through a cookery workshop, teaching you how to prepare a delicious Yemini meal. While the food is cooking, you will learn about the history of Yemeni cuisine and enjoy some traditional Yemeni music.

About Yemeni Scottish Foundation:

We are a group of young people living in Scotland who feel there is a need to represent Yemen’s culture and heritage and to be active individuals in the Scottish community.
