This event will provide a short overview of the Global Compact on Refugees and the Global Compact on Migration, both adopted by a majority of UN member states in December 2018. The compacts were devised, negotiated and drafted during the past two years and pave the way forward for global responsibility sharing for refugees, and safe, orderly migration governance.
