The Anti Dawn Raid Chorus

by University of Glasgow
Monday 14 June 2021, 12:00
About the event:
This event is a critical and celebratory conversation hosted by Professor Alison Phipps (UNESCO RILA Chair, University of Glasgow) with Glasgow-based activists and community members who used the arts as advocacy to protest against the conditions in which refugees live.
Amongst poems, videoclips and live performances, the debate will also connect the local with the global community: international experts on migration involved in the Culture for Sustainable and Inclusive Peace Network will be giving a commentary on the mother and baby units and refugee housing practices.
