Refugee Scuccess Stories

Refugee Success Stories

Saturday, 25 June
13:00 - 15:00

By Safety Awareness Glasgow

We want to show children and young people from refugee backgrounds that they can build successful lives for themselves in Scotland.

Our event event aims to inspire New Scots children by giving them examples of role models from the refugee and asylum seeking community. We will share stories about people from refugee backgrounds who have gone on to have successful careers in business, music, sport, and more.

We hope that hearing these real life success stories about people from the same background as them will give young people the confidence to build on their talents and follow their dreams.
