13:30 - 18:00

By Scottish Africa United

Join us for a special gathering where you can meet people from different backgrounds, make new friends and share the stories of our cultures and communities through music, dance and food.

Our group is made up of refugees and asylum seekers who have settled in Scotland. We bring people from different cultures together to learn how to grow organic vegetables suitable for the Scottish weather.

At our Refugee Festival Scotland gathering, we will show you how to grow and take care of different vegetables, from potatoes to tomatoes and many more. We will also be serving traditional African dishes made from what we have grown, cultivated and cooked for you.

Come along to enjoy some African culture and food!
