Pictures of Home Picnic
13:00 - 16:00
By Museum of the University of St Andrews (MUSA)
Bring a picnic and get an insight into life in Fife through the eyes of refugees and migrants. See photographs of the region taken by young people who have recently arrived in Scotland, share what home means to you, try hands on activities and meet people who have worked with refugees.
This is a free drop-in event. No booking is required. Any queries can be directed through email to museumlearning@st-andrews.ac.uk or by phone to 01334 461663.
Weather-permitting, the event will be held in St Mary’s Quad, off South Street, St Andrews. This is an historic site which has some uneven surfaces, so visitors with specific access requirements are encouraged to contact MUSA ahead of their visit to discuss this further. In the case of adverse weather, the event will be held in the Bell Pettigrew Museum in St Mary’s Quad, which is also located in an historic building. As before, visitors with specific access requirements are encouraged to contact MUSA to discuss this ahead of their visit to ensure that their visit is comfortable and enjoyable.
