Our stories: A Women’s Writing Workshop

Wednesday, 22 June
11:00 - 14:00

By Interfaith Glasgow's Weekend Club

Join the writer, Abigail Haworth, to explore refugee women’s stories and work together to create our own short pieces of writing. Before the event takes place, we’ll send you a short story – written by a woman from a refugee background – to read in advance.

When we meet for our book club, we’ll discuss the story and each share our own interpretations of it before enjoying a meal together. Abigail will then lead us in a creative session as we come together to write about a memorable morning in our lives.

All women welcome – no writing experience necessary!

The event will be completely free to attend and travel expenses will be provided. A prayer space and activities for young children will be available. Please register for this event in advance so that we can send you a short story in the post.

Dialogue Centre, Flemington House (2nd Floor), 110 Flemington Street, Glasgow, G21 4BF
