Glasgow-based visual artist duo Gardner & Gardner create a temporary, site-specific installation, Nest a while. A wee sanctuary encircled by the bigger sanctuary that is the Hidden Gardens. The open-air space embraces welcome, peace and shared stories, to be enjoyed by all ages.
Founded by NVA public arts organisation in 2003, The Hidden Gardens is an award-winning unique public greenspace and community development organisation located in Pollokshields, one of Scotland’s most diverse communities. The Hidden Gardens exists to promote understanding between people of all cultures, faiths and backgrounds.
Contribute to the making on Saturday 16th of June as part of Refugee Festival Scotland’s Opening Day celebrations. Create your own bird costume and join the celebratory ‘bird parade’.
