Community Meal: Sharing Food and Stories

Tuesday, 21 June
18:00 - 21:00

By Glasgow Autonomous Space

Join members of Glasgow’s refugee and migrant community for a special celebration of food and the power it has to bring people together.

This barbecue and pot luck has been organised by the Language Exchange and Glasgow Autonomous Space. Come to enjoy music, stories, recipe sharing and of course, food.

Bring along a dish that means something to you, taste mouth-watering meals from around the world and learn the stories, histories and traditions behind each plate of food.

We’ll be serving both international and local cuisine from Arabic couscous to Scottish haggis and much, much more!

The barbecue will be provided. Please feel free to cook your own food to bring along and share.

We can reimburse you for ingredients and expenses.

Glasgow Autonomous Space, 53 Kilbirnie Street, Glasgow, G5 8JD
