IWG would engage the international women and their families in celebrating Refugee Festival. It is a learning experience for all to learn different approaches to cultural celebrations and meanings.  There will be approximately 50-60 members in attendance.  All members and their children will meet at Glasgow green from 1 pm until 6 pm. It’s an opportunity for members to meet face to face after 15 months of lockdown. This is an opportunity to meet and introduce new members of the community.

International Women’s Group (IWG) aims to support and meet the needs of very diverse women living in Glasgow and surrounding areas including: refugees, migrants and those living in isolation. IWG seek to empower and inspire women by creating opportunities to come together; make social connections; learn new skills and increase confidence to participate in all aspects of life in Scotland.
