Saturday 23 June 2018, 12:00 - 15:00
Launch of a book created by Central and West Integration Network (CWIN) youth club, based on the life of Walter Tull and other characters. The book will be launched during our Interfest community event. The event will also feature childrens’ arts, street arts and street food. CWIN works to alleviate poverty in BME, asylum seekers and refugee communities, improve their standard of living and actively promote their settlement and integration within the wider community. They help destitute individuals and families in times of crisis and hardship where they may often have no other support available. They are based at the Garnethill Multicultural Centre, 21 Rose Street, Glasgow.  Their services include: Emergency Food Aid through a weekly food bank, drop in service to provide help, advice and support whenever needed, English classes, and mother and children groups.
