About the event:
New Scots families and members of the receiving community living in Aberdeenshire are building a community garden together. In preparation for this everyone will grow sunflowers at home. They will then be planted in the community garden during Refugee Week.

Friends of Amal (SCIO) works to support Resettled New Scots families in Aberdeenshire by working closely with the Amal Project (a New Scots led community group), Aberdeenshire Council’s Resettlement Team and New Scots families themselves by supporting volunteers and creating opportunities for integration, skills development and community development.
