Event is for age 15 and over.

Readings, followed by open discussion.
Extracts provided in both Arabic and English.

Participants will explore Palestinians’ plight as refugees, the legacies of their struggle for freedom, and solidarity with their struggle, providing a window for engaging in conversations about resilience across the Arab world.

Reading extracts from Mahmoud Darwish, Ghassan Kanafani, Leila Khaled, Soha Bechara, Alaa Abd El-Fattah, Lamia Ziadé and others, we will think of how Palestine opens up horizons beyond borders, until everyone is free.

There will be handouts plenty of time for reflection. Participants are encouraged to bring something to share with the group, but there is no requirement to. Large print versions of the texts will be available.
