‘When I Grow Up Again’ is a one-hour interactive storytelling performance based on eight true stories told by Ukrainian refugees — four adults and four children. The stories explore war, forced displacement, migration, adaptation to a new country, humour as resilience, and shared humanity.
Through intimate storytelling and gentle audience engagement, the performance creates a reflective space where refugees and local audiences meet as equals.
Rooted in lived experience, the event invites empathy, listening, and connection beyond language, offering a shared moment of understanding and hope.
13/14 June – performance in English.
20/21 June – performance in Ukrainian.
