Community Celebration Storytelling/Poetry/Spoken Word Visual Art

Did you know anyone in the UK can form a group and welcome a refugee family into their community? This is Community Sponsorship. More than a programme, it’s a chance to change lives and help refugees rebuild in safety.

This event celebrates the power of community-led welcome through the voices of those who have lived it: families who have found a new home, and the people who walked alongside them. Through an exhibition, personal stories, and heartfelt reflections, this event will capture both the beauty of Community Sponsorship and the profound role local communities play in welcoming newcomers.

Because when we open our doors, everyone is changed. Not just those who arrive, but those who welcome too. Join us to learn more about the community-led welcome movement in the UK!
