Collective Resonance

Visual Art

Trace of Home invites audiences into a shared creative space exploring identity, belonging, and everyday life through the experiences of Iranian women living in Glasgow.

Created through Collective Resonance, a participatory arts initiative developed with women from migrant and refugee backgrounds, the exhibition brings together short films, photography, and poetry. The film work, created by filmmaker Laleh Ajampour, sits alongside visual and written responses that trace everyday moments, places, objects, relationships, and emotions, revealing how connection, resilience, and a sense of home are shaped over time.
The exhibition offers a welcoming space for reflection, conversation, and community connection. Visitors are invited to listen, engage, and reflect on how migration shapes identity and the meaning of home.
