Community Celebration Families/Young People Visual Art

Standing Tall Scotland, and Guardianship Scotland are proud to unveil a vibrant new mural co-created by visual artist Ursula Kam-Ling Cheng and a group of young people from displaced backgrounds living in and around Glasgow. The work is a powerful expression of hope and strength, and the process has enabled young people to co-create a piece of art that reflects the richness of their cultures and perspectives.

Cheng, a leading mural artist, has captured the creativity, curiosity and innovation of the young people in this large-scale mural, and it provides a rare opportunity to see the potential of a group of young artists underrepresented in the Scottish arts scene. The mural is at the roadside so the public can view at any time.

This is a celebration of all the young people supported by Standing Tall Scotland and Guardianship Scotland.

With thanks to SWG3 Yardworks.
