The atrium and hothouse are located on Level 2 of the Adam Smith Business School. There is level access at the entrance itself; however the approach is stepped (from Dumbarton Road), and ramped or stepped from St Mungo Square. The steps on the approach from Dumbarton Road can be bypassed simply by entering the building via the South Entrance on Level 1. Lifts are available from Floor 1 upwards.
There is clear signage for building facilities/areas in the foyer/reception area. There is clearly written, tactile and pictorial directional signage at key points of circulation routes.
There is some flooring in corridors which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people. There is high visual contrast between the walls and floor in all areas. The lighting levels are good. This building does not play background music. There is not a hearing assistance system.
