The Ukrainian Amateur Theatre of AUGB Dundee proposes to stage a musical adaptation of Robinson, written and directed by Varvara Mishyna. The production delves into themes of isolation, resilience, and the human spirit`s triumph over adversity. This performance aims to resonate deeply with refugee experiences, drawing parallels between Robinson`s journey and the challenges faced by those seeking asylum.
The production will be a collaborative effort, involving refugees and asylum seekers in various capacities, including acting, set design, and production management. By engaging directly in the creative process, participants will have the opportunity to share their stories, foster community connections, and
develop new skills.
The performance will be performed simultaneously in two languages - Ukrainian and English.
