This event aims to bring people from asylum seeking and refugee backgrounds to create art based on the theme of ‘milestones’, in an open studio, facilitated by a registered Art Psychotherapist. They may create group or individual art, reflecting on their journeys so far to celebrate their resilience, milestones and also hopes for future. Day one will be planning, day two making the art, and day three will be an art exhibition open to the public; encouraging youth leadership, participation, and raising awareness.
This is open to public and you just need to turn up on the day.
