Community Celebration Visual Art

“Journeys of Resilience” is envisioned as not just an exhibition, but as a platform for education, community engagement, and celebration of the diverse narratives that shape the experiences of asylum seekers and refugees in Scotland. By incorporating interactive and artistic elements, we aim to foster understanding and solidarity across communities, ensuring every visitor leaves with a deeper appreciation for the journeys of those seeking refuge.

We hope to amplify refugee voices, fostering understanding and empathy by sharing their unique journeys. Visitors will be provided with an opportunity to engage with personal stories, challenge misconceptions, and celebrate the resilience of those seeking safety.

By honouring 40 years of the Scottish Refugee Council, we aim to inspire continued support for refugee rights and create lasting connections that strengthen community cohesion and promote a more compassionate, inclusive society.
