CWIN Art Group Presents: “Holding Space”
Our 5th Refugee Festival Exhibition

We are excited to announce the 5th Refugee Festival Exhibition by the CWIN Art Group, led by Christina Kyriakidou, as part of this year’s Refugee Festival Scotland programme.
Holding Space marks five years of collective creativity, bringing together artworks developed through ongoing community workshops with migrants, including people seeking asylum and refugees.

The exhibition will feature a mix of works, reflecting shared experiences, personal stories, and the power of creative expression as a tool for connection and resilience.
The Central and West Integration Network (CWIN) Art Group has been meeting regularly since its formation in January 2022 and has realised over ten exhibitions to date, including exhibitions at the Scottish Refugee Festival for four consecutive years. The group brings together migrants to build community, develop and exchange skills, and support one another through collaborative creative practices. Joy, exploration, self-determination and empowerment are central to the group’s ethos.

Over the years, this project has grown into a vibrant and supportive space where participants explore identity, storytelling, and belonging through art. This year’s exhibition continues that journey, marking an important milestone for both the group and the wider community.

Exhibition opening: Saturday 20 of June, 2-5pm
