The Hebridean Refugee Community is proud to host a vibrant programme of events in Stornoway for Refugee Festival Scotland 2026, running from 12 to 20 June. Through a series of inclusive and engaging activities, we aim to educate, raise awareness and celebrate the richness of diverse cultures within our community.
Events will include a launch gathering, family craft sessions, school visits with presentations, and powerful talks from refugees sharing their personal journeys. We will also host screenings and a community food festival, bringing people together through shared experiences.
Activities will take place across key local venues including An Lanntair, The Town Hall, the local Library, Museum nan Eilean and UHI North, West and Hebrides.
