In collaboration with Compass Collective and Eden Court, Inspiring Young Voices is hosting a Sports Day and Picnic in Inverness for young refugees, asylum seekers and new arrivals from the Afghan resettlement scheme and people who support them, including their friends, family and community members.
The sports day will host a mix of games and activities to promote confidence, teamwork and connection. The day will conclude with a community picnic, offering space for conversation and socialising. The event is shaped by young people, with staff support, to ensure it is fun, inclusive, relevant and meaningful to them.
