FOSS in partnership with Falkirk Library is inviting you to join our Words of Welcome – Arabic event.
Continuing our series of community events for Refugee Festival 2025, we are welcoming you to a language taster session for Arabic – as this beautiful language spans different countries of members in our community who have Arabic as their first or second or even third language!
We welcome everyone to join us at the local Falkirk Public Library for this Words of Welcome event on Monday, June 16.
12:30pm – 2pm starting off with a language taster session to explore some Arabic words, writing, culture and learning some words to greet each other
2pm – 4pm a community meal of delicious Syrian food shared together over music and conversation, giving an opportunity to practice, chat, enjoy each other’s company and build relationships.
