Families/Young People Food Talk/Workshop

Join us for Flavours of Home: A Refugee Community Cookery Festival – a joyful celebration of food, culture, and connection!

Hosted by Baraka Community and Family Centre, this family-friendly event brings together refugee chefs and local residents to share traditional dishes and personal stories from around the world. From spicy stews to sweet treats, each dish tells a story of journey, resilience, and belonging.

Enjoy live cooking demonstrations, taste food from different cultures, and hear the stories behind the meals. There will also be music, interactive workshops, and a warm community atmosphere for all ages.

Whether you’re a food lover, a curious neighbour, or part of the refugee community, this event is a beautiful opportunity to meet new people, celebrate milestones, and share in the rich cultural tapestry of Scotland.

Free entry – all welcome! No need to register. Come hungry, leave inspired.
