Community Celebration Music/Dance/Theatre Visual Art

Common Ground Festival is a three-day long celebration of diasporic culture and artistic resilience, taking place in Glasgow, 20 – 22 June 2024.

The Festival will showcase an array of creative work across the CCA including performances, art installations, film screenings, talks, workshops and community events. Coinciding with World Refugee DayRefugee Festival Scotland and Glasgow International, Common Ground Festival aims to strengthen the connections and collaborations across the arts and refugee sectors.

For its first edition the Festival brings together a collective of Common Ground creatives, partner organisations and community groups, both local and international. The programme includes newly commissioned projects by Scotland-based artists and performers, produced in partnership with organisations such as Refugee Festival ScotlandMaryhill Integration Network, as well as events in partnership with GRAMNet and Glasgow Seed Library, amongst others.
