Carnival Glasgow: “Rhythms of Celebration” brings the vibrant spirit of Brazilian Carnival to Glasgow! Guests are encouraged to arrive in carnival costumes and dance to samba, axé, funk carioca, and classic carnival hits, all mixed by the hottest Brazilian DJ, Indigo. There will also be a capoeira taster session with Capoeira 4 Scotland and more tbc!
This free, 18+ event welcomes LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, refugees and migrants, Global Majority queer and trans people and allies, for everyone in our community to join the celebration, feel the rhythm, and enjoy the joy of celebrating life.
No experience is needed, just bring your energy, your best costume, and your love for music and movement. “Carnival Glasgow” promises a lively, inclusive night of dance, colour, and community you won’t want to miss!

Carnaval Glasgow: “Ritmos de Celebração” traz o espírito vibrante do Carnaval brasileiro para Glasgow! Convidamos todos a chegarem com fantasia de carnaval e a dançar ao ritmo do samba, axé, funk carioca e os maiores sucessos do carnaval, tudo mixado pela DJ brasileira mais popular, Indigo. Também haverá uma aula experimental de capoeira com a Capoeira 4 Scotland e mais surpresas a confirmar!
Este evento gratuito, para maiores de 18 anos, é aberto a pessoas LGBTQ+ solicitantes de asilo, refugiadas e migrantes, pessoas queer e trans da Maioria Global e aliados, para que toda a nossa comunidade possa se juntar à festa, sentir o ritmo e curtir a alegria de celebrar a vida.
Não é necessária experiência prévia, é só trazer sua energia, sua melhor fantasia e seu amor pela música e pelo movimento. O “Carnaval Glasgow” promete uma noite animada, inclusiva, cheia de dança, que você não vai querer perder!
