Empowering Refugees

Saturday, 18 June
13:00 - 17:00

By Renfrewshire Effort to Empower Minorities (REEM)

REEM is proud to invite you to our Empowering Refugees event. Join us for an action-packed afternoon filled with food, entertainment and storytelling.

We have invited members of Renfrewshire’s Syrian community to share their stories of coming to Scotland. They will tell us how their journeys began and how they are going in the present day – from the people and communities that have welcomed them to the contribution these New Scots are making to life in Renfrewshire.

This event will educate, inform and empower our communities and raise awareness of the many ways that refugees help to shape life in Scotland.

Where:

REEM, 14 Wellmeadow Street, Paisley
