If you want to talk, meet new people and get creative at the same time then come and hang out with the GoMA Youth Group!

Our event aims to help young people from refugee backgrounds to connect as we explore a selection of artworks on display at the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) in Glasgow.

No previous knowledge is required. We believe that everyone has stories to tell and that every person’s individual thoughts about these works of art count. We want to hear yours!

In this session, you will also be able to share your stories and respond to these artworks created through collage. We hope to showcase some of the work you produce in an upcoming exhibition at the GoMA.

About The GoMA Youth Group:

We are a group of young people aged 16-25 working with GoMA to plan a series of events with the intention to use art to connect with communities. We want to make museums and galleries more relevant and inclusive for everyone.
