Covid and Recovery roundtable: experiences of lockdown in Scotland for people in the asylum process and the Third Sector
12:00 -
By University of Glasgow / GRAMNet
About the event
This roundtable is an opportunity to hear findings from Scotland in the Lockdown project (University of Glasgow with Maryhill Integration Network, Govan Community Project, Safe in Scotland and Empower Women for Change, funded by the Chief Scientists Office).
We will be discussing individual and Third Sector experiences of surviving lockdown and, 15 months on, we will be asking the following questions:
- What does recovery mean for refugees and people seeking asylum and the Third Sector who support them?
- What does the support and advocacy landscape look like in digital times?
- What does the New Immigration Plan mean for Third Sector work?
- What solidarity actions and supports are needed?
