Coming Together: Southern European Migrants and Their Intercultural Encounters in Edinburgh

by St Andrews University
Sunday 20 June 2021, 17:00
About the event:

This is a pre-launch event linked to two activities: The first is an exhibition of photographs from workplaces that capture moments of interaction between Southern European migrants, other migrants and the local people in Edinburgh.

The second is the creation of Wikipedia entries on cultural festivals in Edinburgh run by and involving Southern European migrants.

I will be glad to show you the first steps of those activities and listen to your suggestions. Please also come to discuss the transnational contacts of Southern European migrants with the other residents of Edinburgh and how such social connectivity can be improved.

Please register with your email address and I will send you the link that you can use to join the event, which will run via Microsoft Teams. Looking forward to discussing with you! Nikos Papadogiannis, Associate Lecturer in History (he/him), University of St Andrews
