Celebrating the Positives
Friday, 24 June
11:00 - 13:00
By Refugee Survival Trust
Join us for a special event which celebrates the skills, creativity and commitment of a team of peer researchers, all with experience of the asylum system, who designed, delivered and disseminated a key piece of research.
We’ll begin the morning with a film screening about our peer research project, which focused on the experiences of people in search of sanctuary and the periodic destitution faced by many refugees and people seeking asylum.
This presentation will be followed by a question and answer session with researchers who worked on the project. We’ll then enjoy music, storytelling and delicious food prepared by Soul Food Sisters.
