Celebrating Refugee Festival Scotland
10:00 - 15:30
By Ruchazie Pantry
About the event
Join us at Ruchazie Pantry to celebrate the contribution that our refugee volunteers make in their local community.
Our volunteers come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. Every member of the team brings their own unique skills and abilities, which benefit the whole community and support awareness and integration.
We’ll be setting up some tables and chairs outside the Pantry – decorated with banners and bunting made by families from the Cranhill community. Come along to sample some cultural dishes and recipes using food from the Pantry, enjoy some music, meet new people and help us celebrate friendship, culture and community.
