About the event
University of the West of Scotland ‘Celebrate Culture’ are celebrating Refugee week where the theme is ‘We cannot walk alone’ we are holding a Photography competition.
Refugee Week is a UK-wide festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. Founded in 1998 and held every year around World Refugee Day on 20 June, Refugee Week is also a growing global movement.

Entry required – Send your photo to internationaladvice@uws.ac.uk with ‘CC Photo’ in the subject title.
The winners will also receive a £50 high street voucher.
What you need to do:
- Entries must reach internationaladvice@uws.ac.uk by 5pm on Thursday 17 June
- You can submit one entry for each category
