Adam: Screening + Q&A

Sunday, 19 June
19:40 - 21:30

By National Theatre of Scotland

Adam, the screen adaptation of the acclaimed multi-award-winning play inspired by the life of Adam Kashmiry, will receive a special screening as part of Refugee Festival Scotland. The film will be followed by a question and answer session with Adam Kashmiry and director, Cora Bissett.

Adam tells the remarkable story of a young trans man and his struggle across genders and borders to be himself. Originally a multi-award-winning stage play, Adam has been reinvented as a compelling, theatrical on-screen drama, presented by the National Theatre of Scotland and Hopscotch Films. Adam Kashmiry performs, as himself, in the leading role.
