Twaano: From Zambia to Scotland Poetry and Open Mic

Twaano is a Zambian word from the Tonga language that means ‘stories’. This event, hosted by award-winning Zambian Poet Musenga Katongo, offers insight for both Zambian and Scottish audiences on stories relating to mental health and trauma that are inspired by Zambian living. We will have performances from poets from both countries as well as an open mic section available to anyone from across continents!
