Come and join us for a reading of stories, poems, and reflections as part of Refugee Festival Scotland inspired by the theme of hope.
ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) creative writers shared experiences of living in Glasgow, will be developed through a series of creative writing workshops, capturing the voices of new refugee and migrant learners led by Adult Learning Creative Writing tutor, Julie Fraser.

After the readings there will be a chance to meet the workshop participants, hear what they have learned from the creative writing experience and their voices being heard. There will also be the opportunity as a group to explore and discuss what hope looks like and means for the future, which will be captured visually by visual illustrator Jules Scheele.
