An art event presenting the exhibition of the outstanding Ukrainian artist Dmytro Krishovsky.

Through modern Ukrainian art, we want to present to the Scottish audience the experience, traditions, and values of Ukraine, which is now courageously fighting for its existence. The author calls his work “the reflection of an artist who finds himself in the center of events”. The visual images of the motanka doll, bread, and rushnyk embroidery are familiar to every Ukrainian. An extremely deep interpretation of these symbols will be valuable for the local Ukrainian community. Among the activities of our evening is the therapeutic excursion, zone for Ukrainian folk art, and traditional Ukrainian treats. This is a chance for both Ukrainian and local people to come together to experience and learn Ukrainian traditional arts. Please join us where we can inspire hope and togetherness, by telling our stories through art and delicious food in a warm, safe, and creative environment.
