“Govanhill Hopes” Banner Making Workshop

Join us for a free drop-in style banner making workshop in partnership with Print Clan to design a public art piece which will be displayed during the Festival and eventually hung in the newly refurbished Govanhill Baths. Each participant will design and screen-print a square inspired by their hopes and dreams for Govanhill as their home. You will have the chance to experiment and create a colour print, focusing on colour, shape and texture. The event is open to refugees or asylum seekers, including children accompanied by an adult. Travel expenses will be reimbursed (first come, first served) and refreshments will be provided.
