Family Food and Fun Day

Please join us for our Family Food and Fun Day outdoors in the popular venue of Camperdown Park, outside Dundee. Our event is all about people coming together for new experiences and connection. The event will take place near to the Mansion House building at Camperdown Park, which is called Camperdown House.

The day will open at 12pm with a special performance of traditional song by the displaced Ukrainian choir Berehynia and the children’s choir.

There will be a bake sale of food prepared by women from the Arabic speaking and Ukrainian communities, so please come prepared to buy some tasty treats!

Help us to design an outdoor artwork on the theme of “hope”, try other creative activities and enjoy our Loose Parts Play for children. Dundee City Council Countryside Ranger Service will offer nature fun while children and young people can join a cycling demonstration with Yusuf Youth Initiative.

There will be lots of opportunities for conversation and an introduction to local organisations, including Amina Muslim Women’s Resource Centre and Dundee Nablus Twinning Association.
