ConnectMe Exhibition

ConnectMe is a photography project that torture survivors group members at Freedom from Torture worked on, and which entailed visiting places in Glasgow or elsewhere and exploring any items that made them feel connected. During their visits, the members took photographs of places and things they came across and felt some connection with. This connection can concern history, cultures, heritage, compassion, and belonging to the place. The ConnectMe exhibition will present a collection of all the photographs taken and launch it during Refugee Festival Scotland 2023. ConnectMe is a significant and impactful project to recognise the power of photography in telling stories and capturing moments in time.
