Looking ahead to Refugee Festival Scotland 2025: Listening Conversation & Gathering Events

If you have been involved in Refugee Festival Scotland previously, or are interested in being involved for 2025 – we’d love to invite you to two special events this October to gear up to next year’s Festival!

Here’s a little more information about the events:

Event 1 – In-Person Gathering

Refugee Festival Scotland 2025: Listening Conversation & Gathering – Monday 21st October, 17.30 – 19.30

Transmission, 28 King Street, Glasgow, Scotland, G1 5QP

Join us for an evening of food, conversation and storytelling games led by poet, playwright, mbira musician, educator and facilitator; Tawona Sitholé.

〰️ This will be an open and playful evening. Get to know other people who have been involved in the Festival before, share food together and share stories!

〰️ The ideas generated in the session will feed into Refugee Festival Scotland 2025, and how we theme this very special year (which is the 25th anniversary of the festival).

〰️ There’ll be hot drinks on arrival and delicious food prepared by Parveen’s

〰️ Tawona has asked those coming to bring an object that is important to you, to talk about with the group.
