Celebrate Refugee Festival Scotland with Pride!

June marks Pride Month, celebrating the lives and histories of LGBTQI+ individuals and communities across the world.

With LGBTQI+ people facing persecution across the world, and at a time when hard-fought rights are under attack in the UK – this Refugee Festival Scotland, we are delighted to celebrate the lives and stories of LGBTQI+ people who have sought refuge here!

Whether you’re interested in storytelling, making new friends, sport or dancing the night away – we’ve got an event for you!

  1. LGBT Unity 5-a-side Tournament

LGBT Unity is hosting an inclusive 5-a-side football tournament for LGBTQIA+ refugees and asylum seekers and allies. The tournament will be a chance for LGBTQIA+ refugees and asylum seekers to meet others from outside their own community and build understanding.

Mixed gender teams will enter in advance and compete against each other in a supportive environment. There will be refreshments for players to enjoy and a chance to socialise between matches.
